Commercial Solar Panels Are A Compelling
Investment Opportunity For Business Owners
If you are looking for an opportunity that is an excellent investment and adds marketing and PR value, as well as tax incentives, installing solar on your commercial or industrial building is a no-brainer.
Until the end of 2019, the owner of a commercial solar installation can take a 30% federal tax credit and depreciate 100% of the cost during the first year up to 1 million dollars. In addition, there are significant energy bill savings, often in the thousands. Commercial clients typically can expect a straight-line return on investment in 3-5 years.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS ARE SAYING:
The consulting, installation, and follow up by Gary Rochlin has exceeded my expectations. Blue Sky Energy worked with First Class Vending on our 346 kW solar project located at our facility in the City of Bell Gardens, California. Gary, the President and Owner was instrumental in helping us understand how solar was going to reduce our electrical bills, as well as the timeframe for the financial payback. Blue Sky Energy took us through the design, permitting, construction and close out phases of the project. Gary continues to be “the Guy” to call whenever I get lost with solar questions that arise due to the extensive media coverage this project received. I did meet with three other consultants prior but felt that the other consultants were just sales people and not educated in solar because they didn’t seem to understand the solar project themselves. Gary was very professional in his approach to the project and his problem solving and knowledge of solar is unparalleled. I invite any potential client of Gary’s to reach out to me for a personal reference and or a tour of our facility. The First Class Vending Distribution Center now has a total 1,296 Solar panels which powers the 4 buildings on the 60,000 square foot First Class Headquarters location.Matthew Marsh
I had the pleasure to work with Blue Sky Energy (Gary) on a 270 kW DC photovoltaic project that we built in the in McArthur Park area of Los Angeles. Los Angeles Building Management (LABM) hired Gary to develop and manage the construction of approximately 1200 panels on top of solar support structures over our parking lot.
This was a special project as it was the first of its kind in ever in the McArthur Park area and it took a lot of maneuvering thru LADWP and LADBS. Gary Rochlin is one of the nicest and most genuine people I have ever met who spent tireless hours from engineering to plan check and making sure all permits were issued and passed by the city. He also negotiated with LADWP on the interconnection and with the terms and amount of the rebate to LABM. The project flowed smoothly and we are still using him to consult on various entitlement issues that have come up.
The project is currently yielding us about 35% of all electricity to the building saving us close to $5000 dollars a month. I am very thankful for Blue Sky Energy’s hard work and Gary’s personal efforts he put toward this project.Walter Dilan Jayasinha
This will be our 8th year working with Blue Sky Energy. I am a roofing, sheet-metal and general contractor who had multiple installations completed by Blue Sky Energy. The solar industry is relatively new, still evolving and changing every day. The President Gary Rochlin, a college graduate with extensive general construction experience evaluates systems and the economics much better than any other solar contractor we have used.
The Blue Sky Energy team did a tremendous job explaining the system, creating the most efficient layout for the panels to maximize our solar exposure without interfering with other elements on my commercial roof. We were very pleased with the professional way in which the crew worked, during job trouble shooting, and most important the great results! I could not recommend a company higher.Jim DeVarennes
